Jim Trudeau
Chief Design Officer
Jim joined Cummings Properties in 1984 and now leads the Design Department, which is responsible for architecture, engineering, project management, and estimating, as well as graphic, web, and sign design. He has led the design or renovation of more than 7 million square feet of commercial property, with many projects benefiting from his extensive HVAC design and building energy efficiency experience.
Beyond the design realm, Jim helped conceptualize the business and marketing plans for many special projects, including Elliott Landing condominium, Executive Office Suites, and Beacon Grille restaurant. Jim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and is LEED AP accredited from USGBC.
Outside the office, Jim plies the roads and trails of the North Shore, either cycling, inline skating, or—in the winter—grooming cross-country ski trails for North Shore Nordic Association.
