Michael A. Aveni
Senior Project Architect
Michael is a senior member of the Design Department and a key leader in the Company's development efforts related to both new projects and redevelopments. He provides the construction code compliance oversight that underpins the architectural design team's projects. As Cummings Properties' primary government affairs representative, Michael works with community leaders, engineers, and the construction team to secure building permits and development entitlement, and guide projects through the municipal permitting process.
Prior to joining Cummings Properties in 1996, Michael worked at two major Boston architecture/engineering firms. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts and Vermont, and he holds an architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Outside the office, Michael enjoys spending time with family and joining friends to pursue the latest in local barbeque.
